I also how some media outlets had said...."Well landing in thunderstorm is something these pilots are used to so this shouldnt of been a problem."

 

Really? Ever hear of microbursts, wind shear? There is very little any pilot can do in those cases and isn't thunderstorms like one of the main reasons planes crash? I swear the media is out to convict any pilot these days because of a few bad apples.

Amen. Now, on the other hand, the crew might of been attempting a landing when they shouldn't have (ala the SWA @ MDW debacle), but we'll let the NTSB decide on that.
