Fashion Tip Advice Needed

Recommended Posts

For all you pilots that use a HeadSet / Mic and the TrackIR, do you wear a baseball style cap?.......or a simple golf-visor?

I am having trouble with the cap under the heaset, and the baseball style caps have very curved brims, which make it a little difficult to put the reflector device on.

Just some ideas. Thanks to everyone.

LOL..............thanks, I appreciate the advice. Sometimes I find trying to adjust the brim alters the shape and wearibilty of the cap. Its a pain.blink.gif

The cap is just too bulky to be comfortable while wearing under the headset. Earphones adjust only so far. I wear a fairly large size, 7 1/2 I believe.yikes.gif

The drop of epoxy on the brim is a good idea.

Next week we can discuss what to WEAR while flying...............rofl.gif

I use a baseball cap because I only use headphones when I fly online. My hat has a piece of braid on it the contours the top of the bill next to the crown. I have just slipped the clip under that and it stays put. The same thing could be accomplished with a couple of quick stitches of thread and be easily removed at a later date.

Uhh.... you mean we're supposed to WEAR something when we fly?:dntknw:

One can get earphones/headsets which wrap around the back of the head and don't interfere with a cap. that's what I wear...got them at radio shack for about $16. USB connections, work like a champ.
