+warthog64 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Does anyone know where to find the lod file for the B-52H in the B-52 upgrade pack 3.0? In the cold war/bombers downloads section for series 1 games the stand alone B-52H download by Wpnssgt uses the G lod and I'm not sure where to find the original H lod that the upgrade pack requires. I have tried using the B-52H_Late lod but this did not work. If anyone knows where to find this I'd appreciate it. Thanks Everyone Quote
+Dave Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Dude those are OLD OLD models. Why dont use the new stuff that is out? Also wpnssgt only did a G he never did an H. Quote
+warthog64 Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Which new ones? I've only seen the upgrade pack 3.0 and the other packs, but none have a lod file with the B-52H. If there is a new B-52H somewhere though I'd definitely use it. Quote

So what is it are you trying to do? Quote
+warthog64 Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Well it's the B-52 upgrade pack version 3.0 by gbreuder. In this package it contains a B-52D,F,G,and H. All of them have lods except for the H and in the B-52H.ini it says the Lod file for this particular aircraft is the B-52H.LOD. I'm not sure which aircraft to get this from as the B-52H variants in the Mega Pack (thanks by the way!) use the B-52H_Early/Late.Lod files and these wont work with gbreuder's H model. The H Buffs in the Mega Pack are great, but I was just wanting to try gbreuder's model as well. Thats all Thanks for your help Quote

Thats all Thanks for your help Its not gruebers model, its wpnssgt and he didn't make an H IIRC, wpnssgt only made a G, the H you are looking the G lod renamed to an H. That model was 6 years ago and even by wpnssgt's accounts it's terrible. Its not even remotely correct as wpnssgt had a HD crash and that was the last model exported before he lost the max file. Quote
FastCargo Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Yep, I can second that...you don't want the older models. The newer models (with cockpits no less) are MUCH better overall. FC Quote
+Dave Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Was there any specific H model you wanted as far as what year goes? Quote

+warthog64 Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Was there any specific H model you wanted as far as what year goes? Oh no, the B-52H's in your package are perfect! I had just originally thought the one in the Upgrade pack 3.0 was different and wanted to try it as well. Thanks Again Quote
