carrick58 23 Posted February 6, 2010 Hi all , I was just wondering who flew an all Red Albatross D-3 with a Skull on the side ? Additionally, I was wondering in Siggis DID is the LAF Esc open for pilots? Thanks
Olham 164 Posted February 6, 2010 Yep, check here, carrick: http://www.hetzer.talktalk.net/ Click on the roundel, then on the craft with the Indian head.
Olham 164 Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) Oh, and the all red Albatros D III early was that of Godwin Brumowski, Jasta 24, I suppose. He was an Austrian pilot, who also flew for Jasta 24 in 1917. Edited February 6, 2010 by Olham
Av8er 0 Posted February 6, 2010 Siggi said that you have to be in a bomber squad first then you get to be in a fighter one. If I was to fly in the LAF Esc with carrick what bomber squad would I join? Av8er
Olham 164 Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) I don't think, the Americans had own bomber groups, so you should join the British one. After 17 hours - or 5 confirmed kills - you can then transfer to Escadrille Lafayette. Edited February 6, 2010 by Olham

Olham 164 Posted February 7, 2010 Carrick: Thanks Olham, you are a wealth of information. Naw, that's RAF_Louvert, who you mean - me know nothin'. But I got IrfanView, a free downloadable program to see through the skins with. (Thanks again for the tip, Sandbagger!)
