Combo pak question

Thinking of doing era installs with the SF2 Combo pak and my question is all I need to do is create folders like SF2E 50's and so forth and copy and paste the necessary files in the folders then create customized shortcuts?

create seperate core install (ie: copy/paste existing core install to a new folder), renamed to whatever era your using, rename whichever exe (say, like SF2E.exe to WW2PTO.exe), let game create /mods folder, delete items in mods folder not necessary, create new shortcut ... play
