Piecemeal Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) I bought a brand new gaming rack yesterday. As soon as I got home I spent all my time transferring mod files from my old laptop. Just finished this afternoon. All the add-ons/mods that I used with the SF2 series on the laptop are working like sheer poetry in motion on my new rack ........ apart from the EE3 add-on effects. It's pretty strange really. Flak is exploding all around me but there's no black puffs/explosions; What's left of destroyed ground objects are just glowing, lighting up the ground around them but no flames/smoke. I've used the exact same file structure as I did on my laptop (Windows Vista). Any suggestions as to how I can solve this problem? BTW, the specs of my new PC are: * Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) *AMD Phenom 9650 Quad Core processor *4gb RAM *ATI Radeon HD 4350 Graphics Card Edited February 18, 2010 by Ultramax

Piecemeal Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 Use this: http://forum.combata...&showfile=10391 Read this: http://forum.combata...effects-in-sf2/ A couple of hours later; after an SF2 re-installation and a little reading up: NOW I can start playing the SF2 series the way it was meant to be played. Thanks for the help suhshake
Piecemeal Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 Now all I need is to get the afterburner effects working Any ideas folks?
JediMaster Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 See the thread Dave started about Feb 2010 file updates. Every 3rd party plane needs the .ini adjusted, apparently.
Piecemeal Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 Checking it now. I'm having the same problem with stock aircraft too. Hopefully I'll get some solutions from the 'old men'. Cheers bud
