HEEEEEELP Please!

I had been away for 24 hours and RTB this morning, and found my WOE (SP1) stopped working.

 

In fact, even far worse. I got CTDs three times, and I decided to re-install fresh. But, I did not use my old CD since -- again! -- the DVD Rom in my laptop does not work either. Great!

 

So, I copied my January 2010 files of "WOE Fresh Install" of 320 something MB only, for it contained not my "super complete" Weapons, Aircrafts, and Groundobjects files. Just basic ones (no weapon file) from the WOE in the CD when the DVD Rom still worked OK.

 

So far the transfer via an USB went OK. Yet, again, CTD!

 

What the hell is it, I asked my self.

 

Now, I found in the files transfered to my second laptop (that one WOE Fresh Install) the file of GermanyCE.CAT of 68-something MB.

 

And worse thing IS, I forgot where I must cut/copy paste it within the STRUCTURE of the WOE?????

 

I would very much grateful for any senior/ol' hand modders who r mafiliar with the issue. I shall be waiting right here.

BTW, I just read the KB, found none there re the placement of said GermanyCE.CAT Which folder under WOE main I meant.

 

One pack of Brown Keretek DJARUM and three cups of hot, instant coffee have been consumed.....

firstly a virgin install of WOE is not 320Mb.

Secondly GermanyCE cat is 81Mb...and that's lodged in the Terrain folder.

Try re-booting and lets take a look at the error message.

Thanks Stick! U mean within the GermanyCE Terr yes? Ah, yes I remember it now. Secondly, as said by me, mine was NOT from my CD, instead a copy saved in my other tiny E-Notebook of 80 Gigs (generation of 2008 early) that worked well last time.

 

 

Thanks again Stick, nice weekend. I just got well from a minor motorcycle accident South of Jakarta, two days ago.....silly me.
