Mike9685 0 Posted March 8, 2010 I've run into a couple of problems after installing OFF- (1) The game asks for the correct CD to initialize. I have a purchased copy of CFS3, it's installed and updated to 3.1a. I've tried both (legit) disks, but it doesn't seem to satisfy OFF... (2) When I start the game (prior to it's asking for the disk...), I get notification that "mission files could not initialize"... (3) I need to set the resolution to 1440 x 900 - how is that done? Any help would be appreciated Snake
Olham 164 Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) Hey, Mike Firstly, it is important, that you run CFS3 once after installing it. Enter the campaign mode and do one short flight with some craft; just start and land. That is important, cause the sim creates folders or files somewhere, which are needed. So maybe you have to install new. The screen resolution is found in "Workshop" > "Graphics config" PS: please send me a PM with your hometown and country; I will put you on the OFF Forum Pilots maps then. I'd been playing this install of CFS3 for awhile. For some reason, OFF doesn't recognize the cd in the drive. I'll try another install. Thanks.
+Polovski 460 Posted March 10, 2010 Hi Mike If the CD is old maybe v3.0 it won't (also make sure you try the other CD if it's a two CD set). Hence the need to update to 3.1 if v3.0. Point it to your installed CFS3 not the CD in that case.
