+quack74 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 View File Airfields for Bombers First off this is for First Eagles Gold. But I'm sure it will work with FE2. I figured a simple way to use heavy bombers that takeoff from airfields without changing the spacing for fighters. What I did was copy a terrain folder (for this example I'll use the Flanders terrain) and renamed it "Flanders_Bombers". And then changed the spacing in the "WWI_AIRFIELDS1 .ini" in the new terrain folder. Now I can select the new "Flanders_Bombers" in the terrain menu and takeoff with any of the heavy bombers. All the missions are the same and all the same aircraft will appear. There is a bit more to do. It's all in the Readme file inside. The new "WWI_AIRFIELDS1.ini" is also included. A link is also included in the readme for the heavy bombers if you dont already have them. Hope you like this. It's great for bombing missions. Sky High Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Maybe it's just me, but I do notice there have been no downloads by anyone yet, but I can't get the file to download. Quote
+quack74 Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 Maybe there is a problem. I dont know. Quote
JFM Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 When I went to download it it said I had to first read the disclaimer below before clicking the download button, but there was neither a disclaimer nor a download button. Quote
+quack74 Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 (edited) I saw that too. I dont know what thats about????? I sent someone a message about the problem. Maybe It's because of the site work that was just done? Or the file is bad. I'll try to repost it. If anyone wants this it is in the FE forums as well. Edited March 27, 2010 by quack74 Quote
OlPaint01 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 (edited) Hello Quack I finally got the Airfield for Bombers File to download. I had gotten the Disclaimer Message for several days. Now it appears to be OK. OlPaint01 Edited March 29, 2010 by OlPaint01 Quote
