Help....with my rudder pedals

Just got a new set of Saitek pro rudder pedals,plugged them in and off i went to calibrate them.Now in the calibration screen it says it's picked up my pedal's as a joy stick and wants a x axis and y axis input? now when i fly the rudder works but if i touch the brake's the elevators go into the up postion?

Any idea's how i can sort this out!!!!! i'am on vista 64..
