warthog64 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I just purchased Fighter Pilot: The Memoirs of Legendary Ace Robin Olds, and so far it's definitely the best Fighter Pilot memoir/biography I've ever read. Even if you aren't a history or military buff this book is a must read for anyone who wants to know more about one of the greatest military leaders of all time. Trust me you won't be dissapointed. Also, I paid $32.00 for it at Barnes and Noble, but I just saw it on Amazon for $17.81 so definitely get it there if you choose to buy it.
Cali Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Reading "Strike Eagles, F-15E's in the desert" so far it's a good book. They mention my first base commander in it. Interesting to hear the pilots stories from flying to the politics that happen.
