+Olham Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 OBD have really done a great job with the "fine tuning" of the landscape and camouflage colours. Here you see my escort flight of today's mission. Q: How many D.F.W. C.V bombers do you see? (They are all fully in the picture).
steve58 Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 (edited) i see/count 5... is that one of your skins Olham? nice one... Edited May 11, 2010 by steve58
+Hasse Wind Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Five. But they don't seem to be from FA(A) 250, unfortunately.
+Olham Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 Yes, steve, one of mine, yet in progress (the stripes don't join right on the back). Hasse Wind, they were from FA(A) 264, Emerchicourt. I must have clicked "optional flight" a 40 times to get FA(A) 250 with an acceptable distance of flight, but no way. Yes, five is right. But when you don't click and enlarge, it is tough, isn't it?
+Hasse Wind Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Oh yes, I wouldn't have seen them without enlargening (?) the picture. Their basic colour seems to be the same as FA(A) 250's though. Some DFW squadrons have completely different camos.
+Dej Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Didn't enlarge but had to look for a while. It's so much easier when they're moving though... the human eye is tuned to it. Camouflage always works best on stationary things.
Duce Lewis Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Great idea Olham I spotted 5 too but I had to use the magnifier Camaflage is a science in itself I loved the Dazzle Camo on WWII ships ...but it worked ...err, helpsd
