UK_Widowmaker 571 Posted June 2, 2010 My apologies if this has been posted before These are photos taken by a French Farmer, just prior to the Somme Offensive...the glass plates were recovered from a Rubbish Tip. The Soldiers paid a couple of Francs to have their photos taken to send home.
