DO, my Team site is PHPNuke and you can see it here: http://www.TeamODB.com Their are countless instructions on the net for installing PHP_Nuke, Mambo, and many other CMS website software. You can do a search through GOOGLE. +SkateZilla 49 Posted July 2, 2004 COOL!! The Only Issue I Have is Getting A FREE Host.. The Host for My PHP Message Board Is Free But Doesnt Allow PHP EMAIL.. So I Dont think the Site would Fuction Cleanly ON It.... I Dunno.. I'd Have to See How Much The Band Is Willing to Pay.. The Host they have now charges something like $300/year I Think... Im Gonna Start Fooling Around with It Now Though.. Im Gonna Be Busy This Fall.. -> Summer 2005 1. High School Marching Band Webpage -> Authoring and Uploading and Working out Bugs Etc 2. Updating My TEXT HTML Page to PHP, Or Mambo.. undecided though.. 3. Going to College For Computer Aided Modeling and Rendering (3DS MAX VIS) (hehe easy Credits There, plus i might learn some new tricks...) 4. Im Going Be the Media Manager For the Band As Well, Taking Pictures, Filming Movies and Making their DVD... which Im Gonna Blow that one sky high since i've been video editing since 2000, and the other guy basically burns the Videos to the Disk... hehe.. im excited but i also know im not gonna have time for much.. 5. The external model is pretty much done for this version... im working on the pit and the pit functions.. as for the php-nuke page... i'd need a free host to upload it to... practice setting it up so wheni get the actual host from the band i can upload and config in no time.. I Have a Problem, I Uploaded the PHP-Nuke 7.2, Set Administrator, However When i log In is says im OFFLINE, and The Site Says 1 Guesst ONline 0 Users, and i cant access any of the Panels..... What I cant Fix Is: The Forum Link On the Top Bar Is Different From The Forum Link On The bar the The Left, the One On the top Tries to Goto XForum Module which doesnt exist.. How Do You Turn that Security Thing OFF!! Also How Do You Create a Regular Page Ex... A Page with Just Typing That I Can Stick on the Main Menu On the Left... and It Is Viewed In the main section of the page.. Actually If You Wanna Take a Look.. Lemme Know what you think... its about 1 month away from going live, I Need to Get the Calendar and Picture Gallery Implemented.... heres the Link... I Made An Account For my Brother..After 5 Hours he Never Got the "Confirmation Email" So I used the Admin Panel to Enable it, it logs In and Goes to the user info screen where it says Current USER Status OFFLINE, and it says he's not logged when he tries to submit news.. +Fates 63 Posted July 10, 2004 At this point DO, you may want to investigate what your webhost provides and doesn't provide. Do they provide SMTP? Do they provide all the services needed to support a PHP website? I tried to create an account...but never got an EMAIL.... Have you tried turning this "checks and Balance?" feature off? Which Doesnt Exist... I dunno where to remove those..... i looked in blocks... modules and couldnt find it.... +SkateZilla 49 Posted July 11, 2004 its the stock login module.. i tried using hte addon that enables the security code deletion but it only screwed things up.. yeah, I deleted your pending registration when i was playing with the email crap.. the forums emial works.. the sites don't.. i left a message on the PHP-Nuke Forums... So Once I Saw that On the Host's Features List.. I Knew what To do.. now to get rid of that one last bug in the image gallery, which im waiting for coppermine support to get back to me...
