JimAttrill 24 Posted June 28, 2010 They are quite rightly considered to be the first 'composite' aircraft, or at least the forerunners of that method of construction. Built by skilled furniture and piano makers as there was a shortage of metal workers. There is a non-flying one in our local war museum.
