Mizuez Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I'm on my home from a mission when I get a low fuel warning. I figured it is best to divert to my alternate airfield. When on approach I identified the airfield and set my Tacan to the correct channel. When I requested clearance to land, my home airfield said i was to far out. It seams that no matter what Tacan is set to, It wont change who I'm talking to. Also, i did a multi player flight with a friend. We left from different airport, but our Tacan was the same. The map showed Tacan as different for both bases.
+MigBuster Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 (edited) Works okay for me - are you going through the procedure as training mission 10? Edited August 2, 2010 by MigBuster
Mizuez Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 Works okay for me - are you going through the procedure as training mission 10? Ah ok. Yes now i see what it mean. I can now change channel and talk to other towers. Ok so if you change channel with the number pad, what is the point of the Tacan channel adjuster on the right side of the cockpit?
