+Olham Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Carrick: The pilot walked away but I don't know how? Legs?
Bullethead Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Enough to make you Cry. I dunno. It probably didn't hit going faster than about 30 knots. That's probably fixable. I mean, these things are just sticks and canvas, pretty easy to repair. Of more concern in the engine failure that led to the crash.... When did this happen?
SirMike1983 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 They keep losing planes. They lost the N.11, the N.24 and now the Avro all in recent years. I believe the pilot of the N.24 was killed and the pilot of the N.11 broke both legs.
Flyby PC Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 No more airworthy Dh Mosquitos since the last one crashed in1996. Sniff, sniff. But wait, what's this! 1
