wsmwsm Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 With some, but not all of the Quick Scenario missions I receive this error message: "Run-time 'error 53': file not found". Is there a fix for this? Thanks for any help.
+Olham Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Sorry, I can't really offer a fix - but I recommend to fly Campaign. You don't know what you're missing. And with "Warp", you can still get to some instant action.

wsmwsm Posted August 28, 2010 Author Posted August 28, 2010 Thanks, but I am still not certain what file I am missing, if that's what the problem is. And not every problem can be attributed to Vista. Oh, well.
+Olham Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 (edited) wsmwsm, before you do a complete re-install, you should try the reset of CFS3 in "Workshop". You will loose all pilots that way, but if it works then, you save a lot of work. And: I am running the sim on VISTA, and it runs fine and without problems. Edited August 28, 2010 by Olham

Oh, well. Sorry, not a re-install of vista. Reinstall CFS3 and Over Flanders Fields, sir. I should have been clearer. Hellshade

Time to change pilots anyway, so I opted for the reset. It works. Thanks much.
