In late August, a missile battalion of the air force under the Beijing Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) strengthened its pertinent training on such subjects as military struggle preparation and key point air defense in accordance with the requirements of the new Outline of Military Training and Evaluation and in combination with the mission it shoulders, and deepened the systematic confrontation drill in complicated electromagnetic environment, so as to constantly temper the actual combat skill of the troops.
