Olham Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 This was surely posted here before, but I just re-discovered it and want to share the address. I saw books about the "Lafayette Escadrille", which are out of print. Take a look, book worms: http://www.byrdaviationbooks.com/ww1_pg8.htm Quote
Olham Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 Hmmm - unfortunately, they don't seem to accept PayPal. I just discovered this title: JEW WITH THE BLUE MAX, THE, Nowarra, Heinz, John W. Caler, 1967, fine, card cover, biography of Wilhelm Frankl, a Jew and member of Jasta 4, who was awared the Pour le Merite, photos, 32 pgs. $17.50 Should be interesting! Well, I know the title now, and will search on. Here is another great list of books on WW1 aviation: http://www.raindesert.com/great_war/bibliography.html Quote
Ras Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 THank you sir. I had went in to their web site and was overwhelmed at the great titles they have to offer. And if you are looking for some at reasonable prices, they have them along with others that are a bit spendy. But if it your birthday and with Christmas coming not too far from now, treat yourself to some goodies. Quote
RAF_Louvert Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 . So many books, so little time. . Quote
Herr Prop-Wasche Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I trust that the contents are as lovely as the covers! Quote
