workshop settings

hi im new here, i just got [ off] up and running , great sim , i have a couble of questions , in workshop what differance does" player flight alitiude" make to the game, and what does aircraft stess do , also i have plane damage effects on low because i do not see any damage on normal , is this right, apart from that i can not get of the computer as i keep having to play the sim, i love it :good: cheers bert

Some aircraft were performance dogs above 10,000 feet, the SE5 was one. The hunter became the hunted. But you did it, when you had to, such is war. At 3000 you needn't be concerned about fuel mixture. Most Newbies run Auto Mixture anyway

thanks for reply unclear , been doing alot of reading here last couple of days, leaned lots , still could not find anything about how aircraft altiide settings and how it affects game. i supose its related to mixture , but have you more info on the 3 settings, plus does hitr give you better damage effects, and do you need much more cpu power for hitr , game plays great on my laptop [ toshiba satellite a500] but its only 2.4 cpu i5. settings 53351, i would not want to loose the good quaity iv'e got , thanks bert p s , yes i have track ir , best thing since sliced bread

sorry uncleal, didnt notice i had spelt your name wrong , me eyes are not what they use to be , my frame rate goes from aprox 40 to 60, i notice people seam to be talking about a stable fps rate does this matter then ? my resolution is 1366x768x32 . i dont know how good that is.
