+RAF_Louvert Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 . Greetings All, To those who might be interested and still have some Christmas gift money to spend, on eBay right now there is an original trio of WWI British medals awarded to an RAF pilot of 37 Sqd, consisting of the Mons Star, BWM, and Victory medal, and they appear to still have the original ribbons as well. eBay, WWI Medal Trio to RAF Pilot Very nice set, and extremely hard to come by in terms of being that of an RAF pilot. Complete with documentation. Cheers! Lou . Quote
+Hasse Wind Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 For a while I thought the pilot had been awarded a BMW. Is that expensive or cheap for such a set of medals? Just curious, I'm not planning to buy them - too expensive for me, and actually more than my Xmas bugdet for 2010. Quote
+Olham Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 One should think, that a family would keep them... Quote
+RAF_Louvert Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 . I thought the same thing Olham. Sad that no relative wanted to keep them. . Quote
