Mission ends as my aircraft is damaged and before it hits the ground

Hello,

Just seen this video by DVFAP on Youtube

It ends tragically :) the plane is hit by something, looses his wings and crashes, but I' m surprised to note that the player can see his own plane till he hits the ground. Indeed, in my own case, as my aircraft burns, hits an other aircraft or looses a wing, the combat stops immediately, after a short white screen.

Are my graphics sliders too high ? Does a file miss somewhere ? Or is this an other ATI issue (I run OFF with Radeon 5770...) ?
