While flying the F-101 in WOE, I have noticed that my wing man always "crashes" short of making the field on return. He just flies into the ground while I am on final. The last thing he says is "two's winchester" as he crashes without maneuvering. Even if I tell him to return to base, or break or whatever, he will fly my wing until about 2 miles out and then gradually nose over into the ground.

Maybe the flight model if other jets work okay - it could be getting too slow and then when trying to pull up inducing the F-101 pitch up problem which would cause a stall and crash (well on the hard FM).

I don't think this is a pitch up problem, my wingman flies straight into the ground without maneuvering when within about a mile of the home base. Any other wingmen will return to base. I have tried alt-n or flying all the way back, and the same thing happens. It happens with all of the voodoo's. I have most of the flight settings on hard, except for black-out.
