gillg Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Hi guys, trying to put the road airfield into my swedish terrain but its not showing up in the game. The actual tile is not showing up at all. Ive added all the files from the road airfield DL here, I have the germanyg-roadSH file listed in my data.ini and in my texturelist, but no go. The airfield is there with its camonets, but no roadSH tile. I added the tile at a much later date than the rest but that shouldn't make a difference should it? cheers Quote

Wrench Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Tiles can only be placed via the Terrain Editor. They're placement information is stored in the TFD file. You'll have to add the new 'roadairfield' tile to the terrain's texturelist ini, and then figure out where it goes, and hand place it. THEN move all the objects via the _targets ini to fit the tile. don't even get me started on TODs.... wrench kevin stein Quote

I have physically placed the germanyg_roadSH.bmp tile using the TE in the spot i want it, 6. I have the targets.ini file with the appropriate entries, 7. I was altering the texturelist using notepad and manually entering the entris, apparantely it works only when you import the new bmp via the TE. Thats all i had to do to make it work. That took me 2 weeks to resolve even before i tried you guys here. Cheers anyway wrench.. Quote

Steps: add new tile via TE function "Save Texturelist" add TOD items, save 'Save Texturelist' place tile "SAVE ALL" <--MOST IMPORTANT COMMAND!!! transfer TFD & HFD to terrain folder (after backing up what's already there), Test Fly wrench kevin stein Quote
