Carrick,

I would have gone higher-end on the video card... which may have validated Al's claim that you need more punch from the PSU, but when it comes to hardware, he really doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. (Sorry Al....but stick to what you know).

You'll run that card, on that platform, with the 650, no problem. The entire "draw" under load from that rig is less than half of what the PSU will handle, unless you overclock the snot out of the entire system.

(A 5850 graphics acceleraor and no less, to do justice.....preferably a 5870....at which point you may want to consider beefing up the PSU)

Cheers,

I already paid the coin so to late. However, I do intend to up the rig s graphics card and CPU at a later date Maybe try the 5870 with a Hex Core CPU I dont really know the whys and where fores of Over Clocking except that it may invalidate the Warranty On the good side, I got the 5770 after rebate for 119.00 dollars American and a 40.00 rebate on the Motherboard. Thanks Guys ( The TI I talked to said 500 watts would work so I went a little higher .) .
