I promised myself I would buy one of these as soon as I heard they were going to be released. It arrived this afternoon.

 

I regularly fly the A-4G Skyhawk in SF2 and I prefer the early grey/white scheme to the later two-tone grey camouflage scheme. The Skyhawk was still in operational service when I was a Navy Reservist and I remember them very fondly.

Saw it back in 1977 at the International Air Tatto at Greenham Commons UK. The carrier HMAS Melbourne was in Southampton for the celebrations of the Queens Jubilee and there was a Skyhawk at the static display and a flying demo, which was great !! Still have a nice little 1:72 model, hell of a job to paint the tail........
