Not too long ago I was starting to "play" with additional pilots and put VF-111 and VF-161 pilots into my Vietnam NAVY-Phantoms... (I even was able to change the 111's basic shell's white to yellow color, which I think is more appropriate for that era.)

What I stumbled over, is that the pilot's .bmp always show pilot's faces, whereas in the game the visor is always down. Is there a way (key) to open the visors? I couldn't find any hint in readmes...

Thanks for your comments

we been 'opening' the visor for years ... (well, I have at least, since 2004. Meaning: adding the face to bmp)

The visor cannot be opened or closed; you can only paint in the face. I've got several pilot figures with 'open' visors

The face goes in the upper left corner, suitably sized to fit -- takes a little doing, but not too difficult

That is caused by what Kevin wrote.

iirc, the original skin was done by pappychksix (Pete Federico) I just did the hexediting to 'create' the 'new' lod

Well, you're both wrong. I made the original :boredom:

There is a way to remove the visor. Download my pilot pack and look for the one with a TGA for the visor. I am sure I included one or two without the visor.
