Herr Prop-Wasche 7 Posted August 3, 2011 I think they do--that is, they stop firing--but it seems very difficult to do. Maybe if I mess around with them in the damage files....?

I just wondered if it happened. They have a hard enough time of it as it is, no need to make thier lives even more miserable. Led
Javito1986 14 Posted August 3, 2011 I've definitely seen them stop firing and have taken to aiming at them sometimes during my attacks.
themightysrc 5 Posted August 3, 2011 I bet you've never brought back a dead or dying observer in your own aircraft, thobut. One for OFF:P4!
Olham 164 Posted August 3, 2011 Yes, they can die. More than one time have I killed the observer / gunner. Sometimes I came up from below their six, and fired right at the gunners. They died with a nasty scream of pain, which I could hear through the engine noise. After that, I could shoot up the whole aircraft unharmed.
RAF_Louvert 101 Posted August 3, 2011 . Yes indeed. I had the unnerving experience of hearing my gunner ob's death scream when flying a fateful mission in a Roland Walfisch. Not something I care to have happen again anytime soon. :no2: .
