Wrench Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 View File Planning Maps for Sweden Terrain Just some quickie maps made with the old SFMap program, that will replace the 3 planning maps for Gilig's newly released Sweden map Install: just unzip, and drop into the /Sweden terrain folder and allow the overwrite. +JonathanRL Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Thanks Wrench! Tought I admit I kinda like the style on the new terrain, the classic look is also nice :) I cant wait until I get to play with this toy. Just hope I dont rush OIB ;-)
Wrench Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 (edited) it's also multi-season, which is a MAJOR plus! there is a few tiling errors, and some airfields might need plaement adjustments or re-flattening. Haven't spent too much time in it, but I Likes What I See!! Edited September 30, 2011 by Wrench

paulopanz Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Maybe we need a Sweden_Water.bmp too for ships/editor working?
Wrench Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Jonathan already asked about that ... I should have one in a day or so! (want to finish the Etendards first!)

Brain32 Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 welll, hell... and I was almost done with it!! thanks Brain! now I dont have to!!! Hey Wrench and everybody interested for that matter, you guys do know about the "trick" when it comes to water maps right?
Wrench Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 no! please tell (unless it's my trick of repainting on the planning maps?)
Brain32 Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Well this is the deal: 1. Export HFD to bmp via terrain editor 2. Open the exported bmp in the Photoshop 3. load the colour pallete(Image---->Mode----->color table) which I just attached 4. first convert it to RGB(Image---->Mode---->RGB) 5 then convert it back to index (Image---->Mode---->Index) and save it like that DONE! I really don't know why is that conversion switching neccessary but that's the only way I got it to save in System(Windows) mode required for it to work..
