All,

The good news is that I've managed to fix previous installation issues. The bad news is that now I can't seem to get CFS3 to run with any stability. I've tried adjusting graphics and resolution settings in CFS3 and downloading DirectX 9.0. Neither worked, and CFS3 crashes usually one or two seconds after mission start in OFF.

By way of reference, I'm running the 32 bit version of Windows 7 with an ATI video card.

Thanks,

Lanny

This is very strange - I am running "Over Flanders fields" on a system with Windows 7 (32bit) and an ATI HD4870,

and I have never had any issues with it.

- Did you upgrade CFS3 to v3.1 ?

- How much memory do you have installed?

- Which graphic card do you use?

- Did you follow the exact installation guide from OBD's website, to make sure about the install order and the patches?

I also never had a problem with Win7 either 32bit or 64bit.

So it can't be that to be honest.

It has to lie somewhere else and particular to your rig.

Good success, lanny, and welcome to the skies over Flanders fields!

Now, if you would send me a PM with your hometown and country/state -

I'd like to add you to our OFF Forum Pilots maps in the "Sticky Threads" above.
