macelena Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I´ve seen the requirements for SF2NA. Having a CQ 61 portable PC, i pass everything but the RAM, wich requires 4 Gb, while i have 3 only. Will there a way of making the game work properly, such as tune down the Graphs and editing missions as light in events as possible? I know it can be said without the game being out, but using the rule of thumb, could it work or will i have to wait until getting a new PC?
+Gr.Viper Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Less RAM could increase your loading times, maybe make the game a bit slower, but I'm pretty certain it's not a hard limit and the game will run.
+KnightWolf45 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 i play whit 512 ram for years it possible but loading time are realy high and you will get lags some time
+FastCargo Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I've run SF2 on a Dell Inspiron 9 with an Atom processor and 1GB RAM...WAY under the 'requirements' and got smooth frame rates. But I had to turn down everything graphics related to the minimums. It's always a matter of how well the game looks verses the frame rate that looks good enough for you. FC
macelena Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 Thanks a lot everyone, if i finally managed to get a paypal and could buy it, wich i will surely do, i wouldn´t like to be stuck with the requirements. So far, i´ve been able to use the SF2 games with max performance in graphics, wich is not, however, my main priority. So as soon as i can, i´m getting my dirty hands on this.
