Hi there, I was wondering if anyone else was getting this problem and if they are could they try this fix?

I was doing a low-level SEAD mission and came across a SA-10 Battery with FlapLid which I shot at with my HARM. However it flew over the top of the FlapLid, as did the 2nd HARM.

I replayed the mission several times with the same outcome so I dug deeper and found that the FlapLid_data.ini has the height of the radar set to 8m but the truck only 2m high so when the HARM flew through the radar at 8m there was nothing for it to hit. The problem isn't so bad when firing HARMS etc at high altitudes as the HARM dives down on the radar so is more likely to get close enough to hit the truck.

I changed the Radar height to 3m and the Truck with the Dish upright to 4m (more realistic height looking at pics for the FlapLid) and everything works as it should. Here's the data.ini for you to try if you're getting the same issue.

i've had no problems killing them with Shrikes, HARMs or ALARMS...

the "height" has nothing to do with the physical presence of the model in game ... tht's set by the min/max extensions

all "height" sets is how tall (or high) the antenna dish (ok, the vitural reciever/transmistter horn) is above the vehicle frame..

iirc, the 'hieght' was set that way, because we lack the "BigBird", and allows it OTH views/targeting.

There's another reason.

This was set in the ini on purpose. The SA-10 has the ability to 'spoof' its transmitter location to an incoming ARM. The ini entry simulates this ability.
