Herr Prop-Wasche 7 Posted March 3, 2012 HPW Lighter AI Empty Weight Mod View File This mod is designed to replace 33Lima's original AI Empty Weight mod by reducing the empty weight of aircraft flown by the AI and cure the problem of aircraft (especially two-seaters) from clearing the trees and hills at the end of certain airfields in OFF. Although the current version of HPW's FM will work with this mod, it is NOT recommended that you use my FM changes with this mod because the weights for the AI are different in the two mods. A new version of my FM with revised empty weight settings will be released in the very near future. Installation: Install by extracting the mod to your CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields\MODS folder that was created when you installed the JSGME file management program to work with OFF. To activate, simply highlight the mod and click on the top button in the main JSGME screen that opens when you start JSGME. jamieandnici 0 Posted April 17, 2012 Hi HPW. I noticed in a thread that you stated that you don't have your computer. Not wanting to sound pushy though but could you tell me when you plan to update/revise your AI weights with your FM mod? All the best and keep up the hard work. Happy flying. J. Herr Prop-Wasche 7 Posted April 19, 2012 I've got my computer back, and Madmatt and I will release a revised FM mod (with installer)! in just a few days. I'll follow that with a revised AI weight mod to use with the new FM a few days after that--I hope!
OlPaint01 0 Posted May 3, 2012 @Herr Prop-Wasche How about a status update on the revised FM. We are all dying to try it, now that OFF2 appears to be delayed a few days beyond the 2 week delivery date. Buddy1998's Modified DM based on your files is really sweet. I can hardly wait for your 'New and Improved' Ultimate FM to hit the streets. OlPaint01
Herr Prop-Wasche 7 Posted May 3, 2012 Thank you for your interest OlPaint. The delay with the FM is because I keep finding new things to tweak and there are always more planes to work on. Also, Madmatt is working on an installer program for the planeset, but he got set back a bit by some minor surgery. I know i've said this before, but I should have it ready soon. How about if I release what I have now and then release the other planes I am working on (Fokker DVII's, Camel, Se5a's, DH5, Hannover, Nieuport 16, 17, 24) a few weeks after that? OlPaint01 0 Posted May 4, 2012 @HPW I'd say "don't release it before its time" but if you have a few aircraft you are satisfied with... I am currently working on another bundle of the realistic combat conditions mods JSGME enabled that have been released so far. The Great Bundle would include your Weather and Sky Mods, Buddy1998's modified Missions from Bletchley's files and Bletchley's AA Mod. I want to be able to pick a month from the JSGME console and activate all the appropreate mod files at one time for that particular date. This would ease the task a little managing the combat conditions as the War progresses. OlPaint01
