Slainte Maith Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Is there something screwy with the F-117? I can track my target, lock on to the target, open bomb bay doors, and cannot release the weapon. Also, I've noticed that the arming screen shows one weapon, where there are two present on the aircraft when you fly the mission. ...also the second weapon is a "dumb" bomb, which I find unlikely.

Apparently brainiac me forgot to map 'release selected weapon.' ...but still: wingmen don't drop bombs, and the two bombs don't match. Is this a limitation of the software? I did a search for f-117 here and had no hits, so it wasn't like I didn't try looking. =) Any responses would be lovely. Slainte Maith
Slartibartfast Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 The AI has a problem using Laser Guided weapons... thats why there is a Dumb bomb for the GBU Classes so they actually drop the bombs... with yourself you need to switch the bombs to the standard variant and then use those though if in a F-117 its best to go out alone at night...

Considering my callsign is "Friendly Fire" (from when I worked at Microprose--ask T.K. some time) it's best I leave them at home. 1
