+whiteknight06604 934 Posted March 27, 2012 the tail skid needs to be edited in the data ini.try these numbers. [TailGear] SystemType=LANDING_GEAR Retractable=FALSE IsSkid=TRUE HideGearNode=FALSE ModelNodeName=Skid ShockAnimationID=-1 ShockStroke=0.05 SpringFactor=1.3 DampingFactor=1.8 ContactPoint=0.0,-7.30,-0.53 RollingCoefficient=0.7 MaxLoadFactor=6.
+Trotski 936 Posted March 27, 2012 AHHHHH cheers buddy, will do so right away ........As fer you mr Grinseed....I'll give ya rubberbands....I'll have you know the MF's are very sophisticated and world beating aircraft ....errrrrrrrm....on second thoughts....Anyone got any new rubber bands ? oh and a nice big windy upper stick thingy too whilst you are at it
Grinseed 19 Posted March 27, 2012 My response was so bad I felt guilty enough to go check the MFs myself and sure enough Farman MF7, Farman MF11 and MF11b dont takeoff. Its been so long I might have already added Whiteknight's tailgear solution to the others in the two download packs and forgotten to finish the job. Thanks to Whiteknight and Trotski00 dont forget to blow as hard as you can into the front aerilons while taking off for extra lift. Cheers Grinseed.

+whiteknight06604 934 Posted March 27, 2012 maybe it was all thwe wheels then it was so long ago.try replacing the whole "landing gear section with this. [LeftMainGear] SystemType=LANDING_GEAR Retractable=FALSE DragArea=0.00 ModelNodeName=Undercart L ShockAnimationID=-1 ShockStroke=0.07 SpringFactor=1.3 DampingFactor=2.0 WheelNodeName=Wheel L RotationAxis=X-Axis RollingRadius=0.35 CastoringWheel=FALSE RollingCoefficient=0.025 MaxLoadFactor=6.0 [RightMainGear] SystemType=LANDING_GEAR Retractable=FALSE DragArea=0.00 ModelNodeName=Undercart R ShockAnimationID=-1 ShockStroke=0.07 SpringFactor=1.3 DampingFactor=2.0 WheelNodeName=Wheel R RotationAxis=X-Axis RollingRadius=0.35 CastoringWheel=FALSE RollingCoefficient=0.025 MaxLoadFactor=6.0 [TailGear] SystemType=LANDING_GEAR Retractable=FALSE IsSkid=TRUE HideGearNode=FALSE ModelNodeName=Skid ShockAnimationID=-1 ShockStroke=0.05 SpringFactor=1.3 DampingFactor=1.8 ContactPoint=0.0,-7.30,-0.53 RollingCoefficient=0.7 MaxLoadFactor=6.
+Trotski 936 Posted March 27, 2012 YESSSSSS thats sorted it, the problem is indeed in the wheels, the original ini the rolling coefficient is 0.25......in yours it is 0.025 well whoda thunk it....all caused by a zero, cheers matey much obliged to ye sir
