Dithered images when taking screenshots?

Hi all,

 

Any idea why my screenshots are dithered while in game the image is not?

Check the color banding over the horizon, they are not there during flight as far as i can tell:

 

 

I'm using the printscreen button on my keyboard. graphics setup is 1920x1080@32 , detail level is at HIGH preset. do i have to set something under the customized section for better screenshots?

Or this is normal and should i use an external app, like fraps for ex. to capture screens?

Just a guess, but try changing Format=JPG to Format=BMP in Options.ini file in your MOD directory.

see if ur gfx app ati or nvidia ?...is set to app controlled or if a preset then set it to app controlled.
