Olham 164 Posted September 13, 2012 Some people, like Wojtek, have a hand for building super-detailed model. This one is in the scale 1:32; I guess it is from "Wingnut Wings". Look at the several pages with photos of the completion of a great build. http://www.greatwaraviation.com/forum/index.php/topic,1750.45.html

Bullethead 12 Posted September 13, 2012 See, this is why I make got into flintknapping. I learned long ago that I will never be able to make any type of modern craftsmanship even vaguely approximating the standards set by guys like this, but I can channel my inner caveman well enough to hang in that field :)
Hauksbee 103 Posted September 15, 2012 Terrific Albatros! That engine is so detailed that I was tempted to ask if it actually runs. It put me in mind of a book of paintings by Keith Ferris. In the opening pages, he talks about model making as an aid to painting. Shown here is a Me-109, all done in aluminum, (wingspan 14.75") and shown again with a Spartan Executive, (wingspan 9.75") also in aluminim. This latter was a commissioned model, though I don't know how he could bring himself to part with it.
