Cockpit Mirrors

I know this has probably been covered before, but is there a way to remove or edit out the cockpit mirrors? Thanks.

you'll see the selections at the bottom right center of the screen

Perhaps I was misunderstood by Wrench. I don't want to turn the mirrors off, I want to remove them from the cockpit entirely. ie. don't see them at all. Thanks.

you'll need access to the cockpit lod, a hex editor to locate the exact mesh name, and the cockpit ini to use the 'move / remove mesh trick'

 

and since all the stock lods are locked away....
