Someone told me that Russo is working on the UM, cause I was thinking about just update the canopy of Florians great 21U model.

 

@ Russo, can you pls tell me if its worth to start on this upgrade or just wait for your, and could you even pls post some pics ?!

 

Since we are in a MiG-21 hype, I hope we will see some cool pics from you Russo

That work looks fantastic, looks like it would take a bit, but very good work! So I will wait for it ;) Would be nice if you could keep us, or at least me informed about the progress

any body know how to animate the canopy of mig21-um ?? make it open and close

If you are talking about Florian´s UM, the Canopy is not animated in the 3d model.. (if i remember it right)

So no way to make it open/close.

There is no real canopy integrated into the model, you have to wait till Russo finish his Mongol
