Viggen Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 So I've been at AIT for a couple weeks now and I've seen what looks like a Hunter fly over post twice. It looked like it had external fuel tanks. Do any of the contractors like ATAC have Hunters?
RogerSmith Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) I've seen FiFi fly over my school a couple of years ago, didn't know it was the only flying B-29 in existence. anyways, are you sure it isn't the F-9 Cougar? You're in Airforce? I leave for Army soon. *brohoof* Edited January 7, 2013 by RogerSmith
+FastCargo Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 There are civilian Hunters in existence...could have been one of those. FC

+Southernap Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 http://www.atacusa.com/mk_58_hawk_hunter.html ATAC home based out of WIlliamsburg Intl has a couple of Mk58 Hunter in thier collection. They use it primarly as an MiG-15/17/19/J-6 simulator or as a ASCM simulator (for the ground based air defense types to pratice against).
