Looks like all attempts have failed to find a buyer than can finish the deal. This article is dated April 2011 I thought there was some US co. attemtpting to purchase them last year?

Eight A-4K Skyhawks and nine Aermacchi MB-339s have been sold to Draken International for their aggressor fleet.
