jeanba Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Hello I am trying the India-Pakistan terrain and I would like to use the Ajeet under SF2, is there a specific adaptation of this plane ? I noticed : - The landing gears is invisible, except when deploying / retracting - We have a "double cockpit" (or at least a big grey panel right in front) Also, I think that in 1965 and 1971, the Indian used the Gnat, the Ajeet was a later strike version, so shall I use the Gnat ? Thank you in advance Quote
Wrench Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) aren't the Ajeet's running around for I/P??? I seem to remember Sandesh doing all the InAF skins for them, WITH the fixed issues of the missing landing gear (which I fixed several years ago) ..... LeftAirbrake] SystemType=AIRBRAKE DeployTime=3.0 RetractTime=2.5 //AnimationID=1 //ModelNodeName=Left_AirBrake //ModelNodeName=LeftMainGearStrut //HasGearDownSetting=TRUE //CloseWhenGearsDown=TRUE //DeployWhenOnGears=FALSE //MaxDeploySpeed=250 //MinDeploySpeed=100 //MaxControlSpeed=250 //BlowbackSpeed=125 DragArea=0.40 [RightAirbrake] SystemType=AIRBRAKE DeployTime=3.0 RetractTime=2.5 //AnimationID=1 //ModelNodeName=Right_AirBrake //ModelNodeName=RightMainGearStrut //HasGearDownSetting=TRUE //CloseWhenGearsDown=TRUE //DeployWhenOnGears=FALSE //MaxDeploySpeed=250 //MinDeploySpeed=100 //MaxControlSpeed=250 //BlowbackSpeed=125 DragArea=0.40 [MainAirbrake] SystemType=AIRBRAKE DeployTime=3.0 RetractTime=2.5 //AnimationID=1 //ModelNodeName=MainAirbrake //ModelNodeName=NoseGearStrut //HasGearDownSetting=TRUE //CloseWhenGearsDown=TRUE //DeployWhenOnGears=FALSE //MaxDeploySpeed=250 //MinDeploySpeed=100 //MaxControlSpeed=250 //BlowbackSpeed=125 DragArea=0.71 quck and dirty fix -- the get it right, a completly NEW model will be required. not very likely to happen. fixed teh pit too (this is standard SF2 double cockpit issue that has a post in the KB all about it) [Fuselage] ModelNodeName=Fuselage HasAeroCoefficients=TRUE //ShowFromCockpit=TRUE ShowFromCockpit=FALSE gnat was the version imported from the UK, the Ajeet was the 'home built' version by HAL Edited May 6, 2013 by Wrench Quote
jeanba Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 Thank you Sure the old Marcfighter model was very good in its day but needs some tuning for SF2, but it still remains quite flyable ... Quote
