How do you use the gunsight/bombsight on Japanese planes?

it seems on all Japanese planes, like the Ki-27 and the D3A the gunsight/bombsight is covered, how do i open the sight to be able to use it?

The sight cover can be toggled using the "Tinted Reticle Dimmer" key.

Which is, of course, a misleading label for what is done there. When someone asks me to turn the light down, I don't put a bag over their head.

Thanks for this info! I just recently got back into IL-2 1946 and flying missions with the Ki-43 and I couldn't see through the gunsight. Still shot down 1 Hurricane and 2 Blenheims. Not too bad for "pray and spray" tactics.
