New WWI Photos found

Hi all!

 

Just spotted this story featuring the off-field exploits of some unidentified Jasta 34 and 25 airmen, and others.  It is apparently a new find, and full of candidates for the BOC, judging by their sometimes wobbly state and bottles of champagne, schnaps, etc.

And then in the comments, someone posted this:

No doubt British jargon, but about the only thing I'm familiar with in all that is "pranged his kite" for a crash.  I suspect some Cockney slang, but I'll bet even that changes over time - have we any translators about?

The article talks about how "rare" these kinds of photos are, but they aren't, really. I've soon boatloads. You see a lot of these kinds of shots with Christmas trees in the background. Still, they are interesting photos, so thanks for posting the link.
