Missing weapons

I loaded the new weapons pack (without the update, I just got it few minutes ago.) and installed the 2.5 version of the A-10. Loaded it with 6 Maverick D's and when I was on the runway, I F6'ed and saw no missiles.

 

I may fubared it. I forgot to install the March 1st pack update. Is that the problem?

I just downloaded the new weapons pack too. I had trouble finding a Phoenix listed for the F-14A Tomcat. So I checked in the Weapons folder and discovered that two of the entries had erroneous text, saying aim_54a instead of aim-54a.

I fixed that by changing the names and got the Phoenix to show in the list for "create mission". But if I tried to load a mission where the Tomcat was featured, the aim-54a was not available in the loadout list. How do I fix this? Is there a tutorial somewhere, because I'm new to this Weapons stuff.
