Would it be safe to assume that this DVD would be compatible to play in the US as it states "Made in Europe", or is that standard only for DVD movies only ?(regional codes)

You know that thought did cross my mind and I asked around before buying.

 

No one was really sure but the consensus seemed to be the "region code" thing applied only to movies.

 

I seem to remember this also applying to DVD's containing computer software but I was in the minority.

 

So this will either be really cool or I will have a nice new tea coaster for Christmas.
