Hauksbee Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Seems as though it could. In the one area where the British actually managed to breach the German lines (and quite handily) they deployed a huge flame projector underground in its own tunnel system with a pop-up head/nozzle that bathed the German trenches with a napalm-like mixture. Very nasty. Quote
Olham Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Arrgghhh - I hought only the flyers had been afraid to burn alive... Quote
Javito1986 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Good golly miss Molly, had no idea they used anything like this. I watched the whole thing, terrifying. They also found some amazing artifacts though. The body was depressing, I can't imagine how many others are buried out there right now as we speak. It's a massive cemetery really. Quote

I always thought flamethrowers (the mobile back-pack version)were a German invention. 'Seems the Lusitania made a very big impression on Captain Livens. Quote
Mr_Dirt Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Thanks for sharing this. I watched the whole video it was astonishing seeing this machine work. I would like to someday visit these areas to pay my respects to these men who servered their countries honorably. Thanks again for sharing this with us. Quote
