Topographic map (.tar) for Terrain Editor

Hi

 

I'm trying to do my firts terrains and I'm unable to obtain the Topographic maps needed from USGS..... Is there any way to obtain them? Or any of you could obtain that map for me?

search fot USGS DEM format, inly DEM is recognizable by TE as far as I know
