It consisted on detecting and investigating military personnel that may want to defect, due any reason, political, idiological, personal, etc.. Some low profile military officials and privates of the Parani Army had their family in Dhimar, and, most important, 10 MiG-21 pilots. In a cold and dark night, these were on CAP near the border and "got lost", only to end up landing on Quneitra Airfield. One of the pilots along with it's aircraft was sent to the US. The remaining 9 pilots stayed in Dhimar helping train their new friends, and the MiG-21s where immediatley put into service, as MiG-21Dh. Installation is as usual.
